Two airlines competing in the same market can also be business partners carrying each other's passengers on the same day. Behind this lies the economic logic of reaching, through partners, markets that cannot be reached alone.
On this short flight accompanying the thirteenth episode of the Airline Management Essentials series, you separate forms of cooperation in which partners keep their identity from acquisitions and mergers, test economies of density, scale and scope, franchising and market-oriented alliances, and make a fictional airline's partnership decision. When you complete the flight, you earn the Alliance Specialist badge and add one more star to your badge board.
How to play?
Briefing: You learn the route of the flight and your mission.
Task: You place each form of cooperation in the right group according to whether the partners keep their identity.
Decision moment: You choose the best partnership path for a fictional airline that wants to enter a market across the ocean but faces ownership rules and bilateral agreements. Every good call earns flight hours; a wrong call costs fuel, but the flight goes on.
Video bonus: If you watch the episode video from inside the game, the hours you earn on that flight are doubled.
You can change the language with the TR / EN button at the top right.
